Thank you for helping us spread the Good News of God’s amazing grace to the world using personal emails and social media.
These “weekly” grace messages are designed to be forwarded by you with any personal comments.
It’s simple, non-time consuming, and serves to spread the unleavened truth of the finished work of Christ to thousands.
Can we agree that Christians are not under the law? Please consider how very important this elementary truth is to your life and spiritual well-being. Jesus imparts to you the power to bear life-giving fruit as you abide in Him. He says, “he who abides in me and I in him, he bears much fruit; for apart from me you can do nothing” (John 15:5). A gospel of law-keeping is no gospel at all. There simply is no “good news” associated with a life lived under the law. That is true before salvation and even more applicable after one is saved.
(Pure Grace, page 59-60)
It is astounding that the Body of Christ almost universally believes the Old Covenant Law still has jurisdiction over our lives! Whether or not Christians are under the law is a kindergarten question and most get it wrong. It is one of the most clearly answered questions in Scripture. (See Romans 7:2-8). We have been released from the law and joined to Christ. He has jurisdiction over our lives, NOT THE LAW!!
Grace to you all,
Pastor Clark Whitten
Grace Church Longwood, FL.
